I wouldn't have minded going but Linda's work Xmas party is on the Thursday night so travelling to North Wales is not viable on the Friday.
Following Cardiff RFC all over from sunny Bournemouth in Blue and Black
There are some fab hotels up there, I like the sound of the Black Boy Inn !?.
Al why dont you travel on the Friday to Cardiff then go up with the SC Im sure they will be running a coach.
If you mean the Black Boy in Caernarfon, then it is/was a good one. I (vaguely ) remember staying there overnight when playing for UWIST against Bangor in the early 80s........it is old with lots of low beams, etc.
That was a long time ago, but a friend stayed there for a couple of nights in the spring and he reckoned it still fitted that description and was a good place to stay.
